Leeny (along with Steve, Tamara, and/or The Eeny Meenys) has appeared live in the studio at The Playground on WERS several times as part of their Live Music Week Pledge Drives. WERS is one of Emerson College's two student-run radio stations located in Boston, MA, and consistently ranks as the #1 college radio station in America, according to The Princeton Review. WERS offers an eclectic mix of musical genres, and more live performances than any other station in the region with programming that features over 20 different styles of music and news. It stands as the first non-commercial radio station in New England, and has been in operation since 1949. As a public radio station, WERS depends on all of us for financial support, so please give what you can. Call WERS at 617-824-8890.
The Playground can be heard every Saturday and Sunday from 5:00-8:00pm ET. They play a wonderful mix of kids' music from the newest hits to classics from when we were all kids. And, you can request your favorite songs by calling in to their DJ Request Line at 617-482-8890. Access live streaming audio at www.wers.org or tune in locally at 88.9FM Boston, 96.5FM New Bedford, or 101.5FM Gloucester.

One day a few years ago, my persuasive nephew Zak asked me to write some songs for him. Who knew that a few tunes about ... more fruit, mammals, and stinky diapers would change my life?! I’ve released two Parents’ Choice Award-winning CDs and perform around the greater Boston area at schools, libraries, fundraisers, and private parties.
